Tom has been the Bank Manager of TSB in Dumfries for the last 25 years.

Tom is Chair of the Prince"s Trust Youth Business Scotland for Dumfries and Galloway.

Tom is also a business mentor to 3 businesses supported by the Trust.

Vice President: Dayne Boyd

Director of The Boyd Group, the largest Dumfries based family run Health and Safety group.

Providing bespoke Health and Safety management, consultancy, training and associated safety supplies to companies worldwide. Within The Boyd Group, Dayne overseas the day to day operations of Boyd Fire, and has become a market leader within the fire safety industry supplying and maintaining fire extinguishers for some of the largest blue chip companies and institutes within the U.K. The Boyd Group reputation has enabled Dayne to be a go to contractor for some of the most senior Directors in the country taking the pressure off of their Health and Safety commitments.

Dayne Joined the family company in 2006 and became a Director in 2012.

Ronnie Bradford - Brookford B&B

Proprietor of Brookford B & B, previously Marketing Officer for Glenkens Community and Arts Trust and The CatStrand Community, Arts and Visitor Centre in New Galloway preceded by 4 years as a Director and co-founder of Tourism Doctor Limited, one of the region's most successful online marketing solutions providers to the tourism industry. Ronnie acts as a Business Mentor with the Scottish Chambers Business Mentoring Service.

Sue Irving - DAGCAS

Sue is Chief Executive of Dumfries & Galloway Citizens Advice Service and has been working in the third sector for over 25 years. She has a long track record in providing services for vulnerable and disadvantaged people and worked for many years with people affected by homelessness, substance misuse and mental health issues. Sue is a Trustee of Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway, Chair of the Board of Homeless Action Scotland and a Trustee of Langholm Town Band. Sue is also Director of her own training and consultancy company. (Appointed February 2015).
Graham Keir 150

Graham Keir - Boots

Store Manager and Pharmacist with Boots.  After completing his Pharmacy degree and training, Graham worked for an independent pharmacy in the east end of Glasgow for eight years before taking the opportunity to live and work in Dumfries & Galloway.  Graham has held various store and field roles with Boots since moving to the area in 2006 and has been store manager at High Street, Dumfries, their largest branch in the area, since 2010. (Co-opted April 2013, confirmed Jan 14)


Caroline Robertson 

Caroline started her career in the Royal Bank of Scotland in 1979 and worked her way up from Branch Assistant in Ayton to Branch Manager in Comrie. In 2002 she joined VisitScotland as a Quality Advisor, to carry out Quality Assurance assessments of B&B, Small Hotels, Self-Catering and Holiday Parks throughout Scotland. In 2004 she was seconded for a year as Area Project Manager delivering the Farm Business Development Scheme (FBDS) for SEERAD. In 2005 she moved to Dumfries to undertake the role of Industry Relationship Manager. Her role is to act as the Industry Ambassador for VisitScotland and to be the main point of contact for Industry participants/stakeholders. (Appointed February 2015).


Douglas Russell - Armstrong Watson

Douglas joined Armstrong Watson in January 2012 to take up an Office Leadership role while also focussing on the Audit, Corporate and Professional Practices sectors in Dumfries office while also developing further new client business in the region.

He had previously worked at Partner level in Edinburgh with Scott & Paterson and Baker Tilly so all in he has 31 years of experience in the profession, typically working with owner managed Family businesses.

Within Armstrong Watson he also leads the Valuations faculty within AW, and works closely with Karen Thomson and her team in overseeing our Payroll Service Line. I have recently assisting as part of the AW Leadership Team, chaired by Paul Dickson.

After a career mainly in Edinburgh, Douglas is now enjoying a different experience living and working in Dumfries and being part of a more rural area.
