Trade Mission to Donegal and Dublin
Join West Lothian Chamber of Commerce for their outward trade mission to Donegal and Dublin in October. This cross-sectoral trade mission is available to all businesses based in Scotland and provides the chance to build new connections in a new market while learning more about the business opportunities available in Southern Ireland.
The delegation will consist of Scottish businesses as well as key representatives from the Scottish economy. The trip will consist of visiting key business hubs in Donegal providing Scottish businesses with a base for setting up in the Irish market. All delegates will then travel to Dublin for one-to-one meetings and have the opportunity to attend the South Dublin Chamber Dinner.
The proposed outline for the visit will be as follows:
17th October – Arrival to Donegal
- Afternoon: Conducting visits to various local Irish businesses
- Evening: Reception with key representatives of Southern Ireland’s business community
18th October
- Morning: Welcome for delegates with Irish Minister & workshop session
- Afternoon: Various visits to Irish businesses in Donegal
- Evening: Transfer to Dublin followed by a group dinner with delegates
19th October
- Morning/Afternoon: One-to-one meetings for delegates
- Evening: Option to attend South Dublin Chamber Annual Business Dinner
